Based on my research
– As far as general operations are concerned, there’s been no change to their strategy. Rural Funds continues to receive the rent and continues to look for opportunities to improve the productivity of its land holdings for tenants.
– Independent valuers look at the properties every two years and come up with their own valuations. Rural Funds uses these as a basis for the reporting of asset prices, which are then audited each year.
Regardless, distributions paid to investors are tied to the amount of rent (cash) received by Rural Funds.
