I encourage you to read what I wrote, i.e. negative time value on a call option. I did make a small error, it can only apply to deep in the money calls. It is due to a very long theta position, which in layman's terms means, the option is so far in the money that it is more likely to "lose moneyness" over the remaining time to exercise than retain it.
