A rights issue would mean all the shareholders would have to come up the money in a short amount of time just before Christmas. This is likely to cause many people to have to sell RAC shares to fund the conversion and drive the SP below the 75c price causing it to fail. I don’t anyone would think this was a good outcome.
We are not chasing new opportunities. The updated strategy is just the Three Pillars strategy updated to take into account what we have discovered since it was first announced in 2021.
