Shareholders applaud rewarding good employees ...same philosphy as "happy wife , happy life "!! More particularly when the dynamics of the gold operations of ALK are moving at an accelerated pace , on a number of fronts.
Also , a "flag"to Genesis and Calidus Boards and employees , that good projects and good employees are recognised and rewarded by smart Boards .
One also has to recognise the timing of this exercise ie in a relative small window , between resource and drilling updates , and after the ASM demerger .Do Board's generally issue issue employee shares , if they don't think those shares have the potential to grow in value !
