If governments are chipping in through stimulus
If banks are chipping in through loan repayment deferrals / reduced interest rates
If shareholders are chipping in through no dividend and horrific share price write downs
If customers are chipping in by having the above deferrals put on the end of their loans
Part of any large business remuneration package includes KPIs. They would be getting smashed atm and therefore remuneration cuts are justifiable. Shareholders dont need the added weight of heavy director pockets at this time.
