Well my guess is tomorrow share price could well be in the mid $3 range.

I see Seven group Holdings which holds 70% of the company not selling any stock or Macquarie Group Limited with better than 7% also keeping that parcel intact.
Private holders that want to take advantage of the new cost base to realise a lose to offset against capital gains will at some point need to sell, but have until the end of financial year to do so, some may also decide to take advantage of the volatility in the short term to rebuy their positions.

As for SVW with 70% which is around 767,751,883 shares works out to about $2.1 billion dollars. They could use that to fund the take over of the remaining 30%, say for around about $4.50 per share ex ex, which would at that price get board approval.

So I think anything 3.50 or below for a medium term hold looks attractive.

Plus another about 5 cent div in the February announcement.
