So 12 months on from this thread's announcement and still nothing ...
"Following on from reviews of pipeline operating incidents, the local pipeline network owner recently imposed severe volume restrictions on the previously identified pipeline route for Borba natural gas. This restriction would have resulted in the Borba production being curtailed indefinitely to well below its potential."
One point to consider at this stage could be how much revenue would have been generated to date with this restriction ? Only the BoDs of SGC/XST would know - apart from the pipeline operator themselves.
Leaving Borba in limbo all this time with mgmt only suggesting a couple of ideas, without taking any action, seems more like (imo) an excuse to show the authorities that the production licence is still warranted.
Trucking it (converted to Hydrogen) to servos - ditched by the looks of it.
Supplying a new Data Centre - has it even been built yet ?
The pipeline operator must surely have sorted out their restricted capacity problems by now as well so maybe it's time to suck it up and get back to the original plan ?
If they weren't making revenue elsewhere, damn sure this discovery would have been monetised long before now ... really slack management in this situation imo
