It's funny that you refer to Qld coal royalties, I grew up in Qld and now when I visit my Mum, the 'miners' ads are constantly on TV telling Qld'ers that their mean Govt is taxing miners for digging Qld's resources out of the ground and making Billions and how dare the Qld Govt ask for up to a 15% share for the people of Qld to reduce their costs in detriment to the miners' profits. I'm a BHP shareholder and I can't think of anything to say to support the miners' side of that argument.
