If the Northern Hemisphere has a cold winter this year then SPUT will really take off and show the failure of Renewables (excluding hydro) on large scale production due to a squeeze on Gas. California is already running out of energy but still think's they can shut Diablo in the next few years even though 20% of EV buyers have gone back to ICE cars.

Environmental groups are starting to say SMR plus Renewables to Net Zero by 2050 but this is fundamentally flawed as SMR's are baseload and Renewables need a secondary supply- gas or hydro to pick up when the sun isn't shining or wind isn't blowing as Maximum demand on the grid is around 6pm. State's (Victoria) are talking about 4 hour batteries to cover Maximum demand which doesn't work once large scale EV's are introduced with the long charge times.

Large scale nuclear energy roll out is the only way to Net zero which is why China and Russia are so bullish.
