i understand your thinking. I used to feel the same way.
however, the down side of SPP's have been covered in previous comments. The reasons it caps the price has been covered too.

Lets ask this of you....how many extra shares would you like and what are you wanting to pay for them. next what price are you intending to sell at.
lets assume you are thinking you would buy your full $15,000 on the SPP and instead of getting them at 6.5c you pay 7c, so instead of 231,000 shares you get 215,000 shares.
you intend to sell at $1 in 3 years time. so you lose $16,000 by not getting them at 6.5c.

If you have $15,000 to invest in BOE then i would ask you why you didnt deploy it at 5c a few weeks ago. by not doing so you missed having 300,000 shares and lost $69,000 over your SPP scenario.
When you add to this the flexibility we have as small investors to trade these shares as we go, whereas the large insto has little or none....i think we have done well.
I hope you will see this in the spirit it is intended.
