The Barnett government deserved the axe it has been the worst state government since Joan Kirner’s rabble in Victoria and has gotten its just deserts for an epic fiscal failure.
They totally blew an historic boom delivering rivers of gold and we end up with a debt that will blow out to probably $50billiion and that was after a fiscally responsible labor government handed over a surplus and a small 3billion debt and a fully funded FSH
___ and that was before delivery of the rivers of Gold opened up to Barnett on the production boom in minerals
And what a shambles things like the Stadium are – a secret deal the taxpayers know nothing about except the cost is going To be well north of $1.3billion when the same stadium was built in Adelaide for $600 million
And I could go on like they have handed over a fiscal wreck which has been emptied of resources to soften the downturn.
