there is still a fair chance kennedy wont get the position. He and gaetz are the two nominations that have a fair chance of not getting up. Kennedy is widely regarded as loopy. I suspect he is one that Trump won't go to the wall for.
secondly these things take AGES to get through the system. I am no expert on the US health system, but it is a huge bureaucracy ( as we discovered just with FDA approval) and getting changed such as capping and direct marketing through is not simple. It will be challenged by industry, will go through courts etc plus also has to compete with all the other legislative changes at a time when the whole govt bureaucracy will be in turmoil. Yes, they will mouth off about what they "are going to do" but like last time will be so inept it wont happen. And thats not even considering trying to move a bureaucracy that doesnt want to be moved by a looney who is not equipped to move it.
current price action is just the market taking advantage. Not concerned. The fundamentals have not changed in terms of quality product, quality management, quality systems approach, progress being made on all fronts.
