Can this be explained by a mistake whereby the actual drug has been mislabelled? Given it is a double-blind trial, the bottle would be labeled with a code (or similar, I assume) that very few people would have access to. Every single person handling, transporting and administering it would have no idea about what is what so no one would be in a position to pick up the mistake. I take comfort in the fact the actual results are great it is just when comparing the results of the US trial against the vehicle on its own is where it doesn't look good. And that's only because the vehicle on its own looks to have behaved like a world-class drug.
