Not only parents but the doctors prescribing the drug would prefer zero side effects for their patients. Roaccutane is so toxic that I'd image doctors would push for a combination of a topical cream with a less toxic drug first so there is definitely a place for BTX 1503 even if it can't match Roaccutane's efficacy.
There will always be a panic after a mixed announcement. It would have been nice to get clear results but at least it wasn't a complete failure and we're still in the race.
