BOT is kick starting 1801 nose cleaning trials in July. 1503 is going to phase 3, they are meeting with the FDA to simply iron out the details. Today’s announcement makes me feel very confident that whatever happened in the USA phase 2 was a technical stuff up and the company has full faith that the product is a winner. They are not going to go full steam ahead with a phase 3 and start a THIRD product trial into rosacea, which has a lot of similarities to acne, unless the science was there after the acne phase 2.

The company is not giving away specifics but comments about opportunities being investigated in terms of other bacterial infections, different methods of delivery and new uses with improved bioavailability is exciting. Does this hint at a move away from solely dermatology and the inclusion of oral or injectable medication for bacterial infections. In the last update there was mention of covid opportunities - streptococcus perhaps $$$$
