You would think that would have similar % of people that suffer across the globe, however to make commercial sense:
Need a good healthcare system, large population, not just population but large enough in middle class and above, as well as a sound logistics/supply chain + consideration in navigating all the governance layers each duristiction imposes and then all the insurance agreements etc. It still takes a shiteload lot of effort, investment in platforms, sales people etc....
use of Australia as an example - with total population of 25M.....its hardly worth it. Hence why US and Japan are typical first targets for Biotech companies when rolling out. Uk and major European countries is a consideration down the track.
