I wrote earlier on today that the decision today shouldn't influence the EPBC processes as they don't grant mining licences, only assessment of the Federal environmental implications. And SVL has already submitted variations to them. I struggled to find specific information to confirm this so thought I'd put AI to the job and here's what ChatGPT had to say. So still possible we'll be hearing news on this soon. I do acknowledge though that the Minister has discretion so could elect to kick the can down the road for longer.
