I came to this forum a while ago warning posters that mining in NSW and the SVL process is essentially a nice to have but not nice to have above other economic pursuits Post #: 74830587.
I got the baseball bat treatment from people here who should know better but have an interest in the pump of a project and the need to justify it as the best silver prospect in Oz. Chest puffing I like to call it.
I warned folks to look at the McPhillamys process for RRL and think about how it affects their investment in SVL. That was all. Be careful with your money in NSW.
SO here we have today the meathook to hold up the process to a mine. Doesn't matter much which meathook - power; dust; water table pollution etc etc
But here it is. Go back and research Warkworth and follow the crumb trail. It was THE defining moment in mining in NSW.
I feel for retail holders here who listened to the noise but didn't look at the reality of mining into the future in NSW. This mine still may go ahead when silver shortages scream worldwide in 5-10 years - but a dud way to leave your capital sitting.
