Well, my money in on SVL winning. It would be a very quick turnaround for a decision that contained all the detailed reasonsing necessary to unseat a decision of the Land and Environment Court.

The Land and Environment Court Judge is bright and well regarded - it was hardly an off the cuff badly written decison.

(Incidentially, a loss would not mean SVL cannot get consent. On my reading the high voltage transmission line location would need to be resolved and subject to assessment with the earlier part of the project, rather than separately, so a nusiance but not the end of the world)
