Resource upgrade is minor in the scheme of things but the clear message continues and remains the same...
New gas projects need to be coming online in a major way in coming years or wheels will start falling off.
… The point is the Bowen Basin is a huge resource and needs connecting up to the rest of the world to meet supply needs ahead of us. Shell knows this and themselves acknowledge 2021 is the year the shortfall starts to bite. One day, BIG news will come and all will miraculously fall into place "as expected"; but it's a bit like waiting for bloody uranium in the interim ... !!
