Merc you sound like a good person, busy helping others. Like AmySarah I hope LNY rewards you well. Your life reminds me of my previous busy life. You are younger than my 73 years so you may be interested in my encounter later in life with a wise old salty sailor.
I had enjoyed solo sailing for some 30 years, on my beloved 35-foot yacht, in all sorts of crazy conditions. Loved the challenge and distraction from work. But as I got older I was experiencing minor accidents and had a couple of near overboard scenarios. I asked the old sailor how he managed to keep sailing safely. His simple advice –move more slowly, no quick decisions and focus 100% on each task.
I took his advice which did extend my sailing life. I have now applied the same advice through to my general life... this simple advice may also be helpful for you with your busy life.
