New AI Product Launch in 2024 ?
It is never easy to know what will cause an ostensibly undervalued stock like BPG to reprice (takeover is the sledgehammer approach like Task!), but another new product launch this year could be a candidate. This was referred to an interview with the CTO Sam Daish in January (link and extract from the transcript attached). Daish was GM of Data Innovation at Xero previously but also worked at Qrious, a data and AI startup that is now part of the Spark Group. Possibly related to this new product is BPG's announcement of a partnership with NZ AI, virtual assistant, company Arcanum in Dec 23.
It sounds like the new product is not incremental, he refers to opening up a whole new customer set.
