Are you still flogging this dead horse. Seems like your cheer squad gone. Are you out of money your not telling everyone how many your buying every second day. You must be sitting on a nice fat loss. No politician in his right mind would ever put his name on a drill so close to the coastline and especially so close to major cities. Im no environmentalist but who wants to see a jack up rig from the beach.



With all respect to everybodies right to post on a public forum I would like to point out the below for simple balance purposes relative to your post.

Golden Beach gas field location

Golden Beach gas field is located within the VIC RL1(V) permit area in Victorian state waters, which spans an area of 4.3km². The field is located approximately 3km offshore Ninety Mile Beach in the Gippsland Basin.

Pipeline details

A 5km-long subsea pipeline and a 20km-long onshore pipeline connecting to the onshore gas processing facility will be laid as part of the project. The high-pressure pipeline will reach onshore approximately 1.5km to the south-west of Golden Beach town. It will have a diameter of 28in and will be bi-directional to allow re-injection of the gas into the field for storage.

The field, rig and pipeline are located approximately 3klm offshore at 90 Mile Beach, that makes the PEP11 drill site approximately 10 times that distance off the coast of Newcastle and the basis of your opinion is not fairly balanced or based on fact. If you undertake some extended research you will find drill sites well within the 30klm range off our beautiful coastline.

I personally have absolute faith the environmental regulator hands the Minister MR KEITH PITT credible findings to enable a balanced decision.
