The surfers and greenies aren't worried about the impact on marine life, just their own skin. If they were, they would get rid of the shark nets and install a better deterrent to keep them offshore. I'm pretty sure we wouldn't be killing this many protected animals annually with our project, especially with the safety measures we are sure to put in place to prevent it.Threatened and protected wildlife caught in NSW shark nets
