I just spoke to David Breeze. This morning's announcement has zero impact on the timeframe for a decision. It was purely to ensure they remain with legislative requirements as a result of the Covid Force Majeure. However he did state that there is no deadline for a decision and that the government can take as much time as they like to decide. So while they may very well make the decision next week, there is no requirement for them to do so.
