re: Ann: BPT: Beach declares price final for ... hello Blackstone,
most of us have moved on. A few diehards still retain Impress at a future risk as outlined by Beach.
I posted on the 8th of Dec and a few others re weather in QLD affecting the Cooper. That has just got worse over the last month. I live in North Qld. We had a metre of rainfall in a week here during the Xmas period.
Beach is not going to get a return on there outlay for sometime but then they have always looked at the longer term options. VPE on the other hand with there 20% holding ITC and 60 % of the Cooper ITC /J.V. will IMO have to continue to fork out cash for the foreseeable future with little or no return on there assets they hold.
Because of the rains and the Cooper flooding the best offer we got was Bpt.
Not a lot else to say. The rain has destroyed a lot of ITC's future value for many of us former shareholders.
For many other's who live in Qld. the rain has destroyed life's and hopes in a far greater context than any shares of any company in the short term. 247
