No, this is smaller scale vertical well drilling on a zone which has not been produced in the area... alongside other zones up the wellbore which have been produced.
J Schummer found a by passed Mclish zone in the Thelma well when reviewing the logs.. BRK picked up the Thelma lease in 2022 when the PDP pillar was them main play at the time of low oil/ gas prices. They worked over the well and drilled deeper into the zone, and JS was proven correct. They have done much more work technical work on the " play" and are now ready to test to see if the mclish is also priductive here...along with the other 9 targets. if the play is proven then BRK may have " discovered" a material unproduced oil zone. if it is not proven then it is likely quite a few of the other zones will be productive as they are all over this area.
Hoping BRK will do a presentation on this AOIU to give some meat to the sandwich.
