I and my partner hold BRN through Australian Super Direct Shares facility. Only ASX shares can be held.
We cannot hold overseas listed shares through Australian Super so we will be forced to sell at a huge loss if this goes ahead.
I have emailed IR at brainchip.com pointing out that the announcement's assertion: "I want to reassure our valued shareholders, the vast majority of whom are Australian retail investors, they will be able to buy, hold and sell shares of our new US parent company without restrictions once the US listing has taken effect." - does not take our situation into account, or that of potentially many others.
I think it is vital to keep a dual listing to prevent this unfair forced sale at a huge loss.
