It appears that there are quite a number of holders with BRN holdings held by 'institutional' Super funds which will be significantly disadvantaged by an ASX delist.
As posters would have guessed by now i am extremely bullish on BRN.
BRN has an obligation to look after holders and in fairness those holders should be looked after via a dual listing at the least.
My opinion is that to get the required 75% vote for a delist we will need to see some very positive news leading to material SP rises.
Once delisted and relisted in the US, Aussie holders like it or not will lose some control and without powerful incentive will have some concerns about a YES vote.
The BOD will only get one shot at this so they have to be sure of a 75% vote. Otherwise, they will not hold a meeting.
Holding a meeting and losing would likely mean there would have to be some change at the top.
