I think the odds are stacked heavily against their success because of their current limitations to funding access

Google have made huge inroads in AI. Their alphazero has changed the way the top level chess players in the world view the game. What alphazero did in chess is hard to convey to non competitive chess players, but it was "amazing". That was a tiny fraction of their AI projects and it wasnt taught how to play chess, it was simply told the rules and the objective, and allowed to play games against itself for 4 hours! Thats it 4 hours, with no access to any game database. It was then pitted against the best chess program in the world "stockfish" at the time in late 2017, which had the entire database of opening theory and every single game ever played by both computers and humans for over a hundred years at competitive level, and could calculate 80 million position a second, yes 80 million. Alphazero thrashed it, winning 28 games and drawing 72 out of a total 100 games. It didnt lose a single game, and could "only" calculate 8 million positions a second, less by a factor of 10

If BRN actually has a product with real commercial potential, I do not think they can make an impression in a market now dominated by tech giants with huge financial resources, unless they get access to major funding.
