This actually might be true. My guess is that Lindsay was probably made by some major shareholder(s) to self-impose a deadline via a formal announcement during the CR as they could not take it any longer with his timelines (apparently even NI lost their patience). As he hastily made that self-imposition, he might not have thought it all through, and there can actually be a chance that the actual deadline is August or September.

But even if it's August or September, he still has to deliver by then. Can't run away from it this time, because apparently nobody will accept 2026 production this time, be they small or large shareholders.
