The ASX are disallowing a LOT of news now - it makes no sense to me.
They are forcing companies to use Social Media - crazy. It becomes "unequal" information.
Today one of my stocks had massive international news (Cover of TIME magazine) but it wasn't "released" to the market as ASX feel its just promotional. The stupidity is that news caused a 14% price rise, increased trading etc - but wasn't considered "material".
This is happening across all stocks now. When you invest in the spec end - what the ASX says is not material - can be VERY material. AS per usual, they have NFI.
