All very well to try to develop alternative pain relievers but their example of Humira is completely misguided. I use Humira - it is a protein that suppresses one of the inflammatory pathways of the immune system. The net effect is to relieve my pain but it is not an analgesic. It is a complex molecule and there is little chance they can synthesize this using cannabis. Happy if anyone in the biotech industry can correct me.
