Quantum has become a very diverse field of endeavour. No two companies do it the same. And along the way to fully quantum compute, there are a myriad side roads that will lead to better chips. NVIDIA is making hay while the sun shines on old tech. There's a limit to the scale ups. Not sustainable. I wager that this tech cannot last more than 5 to 7 years. Gobbling up frightening amounts of power for running and cooling. Also, AI will not to be done the same way with the same algorithms needing the same GPUs. Which will mean back to the drawing board for NVIDIA, sooner than later.
