But alas TNG changed tack at some point. This from the updated PFS in Nov 17...'This will then be further refined to pigment grade (>92% TiO2purity), through an industry standard chloride or sulfate process, providing an important high-value titanium product. It is planned to have either a strategic partner or operator for the pigment process'.

They have swung from Chloride to Sulfate Sparky, it is indeed very interesting - possibly strategic. I know of a conventional Australian Ti feedstock producer considering entering this market also.

It is the Chinese pigment producers who primarily use the Sulfide process, whilst the western world has moved away the cleaner Chloride process.

Maybe this has got something to do with #2 after all?
