Not an extension of the options expiration date but a Rights Issue to existing shareholders and an option offer to existing option holders. The shareholders get to purchase new shares on a share pro-rate basis and get 1 free option with a latter expiry date and 1 cents exercise price per new share. Off the back of this Right Issue there is an offer to owners of current options that expire later this month to purchase the same new options on a 1 for 2 existing options ownership basis for an issue price of 0.1 cents.
Company gets more money, shareholders win, option holder win - Very Smart!
