Under the ASX Listing Rule 6.23.3 it is expressly prohibited to extend to the expiry date of listed options. "A change which has the effect of reducing the exercise price, increasing the period for exercise or increasing the number of securities received on exercise cannot be made". This ruling was introduced in 2014.
- What's the name of the Company?
- What are the circumstances?
- Did they receive a special ruling to vary this rule in the current market conditions?
- Did they extend the period or issue new options?
- We need to understand exactly what they did and maybe with some luck it may apply to St George?
