If you look at the structures doxorubicin and epirubicin are basically identical drugs.
It doesn’t really matter from a commercial perspective as doxorubicin is a much more widely used than epirubicin. Even if for some crazy reason you don’t see the heart protection from epirubicin + Zantrene combination you still gain the better treatment benefit against the cancer.
