In short, Wombat has found a paper saying that inhibiting FTO activates something called MYC, which is involved in heart regeneration. So he suggested that maybe this the secret to Zantrene's cardio-protective attributes?
Mason has basically said 'probably not' because if that was the case - we'd see other FTO inhibitors doing the same thing. RAC tested other inhibitors in their heart safety preclinical and Zantrene alone is able to protect cardiomyocites (heart cells).
