My best mate had a double mastectomy. Almost all the women developed breast cancer at 40 in her family. She didn't want to die from cancer or the heart failure. She didn't have children because the future didn't look great and she didn't want to pass on the BRCA gene, which causes the cancer.
I've sent this link to her so she can send it to her family. This means a lot to a lot of people.
