    I actually think it’s good they have appealed. Something about that judgement did not ring true to me…it smacked of a union type defence…As in, you can’t expect anyone to take responsibility for their actions…they did their best!

    The thing is it appears the engineers stuffed up, and any practical , capable person it appears would have acted to reduce the risk of flooding.
