As you said, the sp is under 5c.
He shouldn't be getting anything.
If the sp goes back to where it was, circa 30c, then give him some performance reward that will not dilute holders cheaply.
I find it deeply insulting that a couple months back he couldn't afford to pay his own tax bill without selling shares.
Now all of a sudden he will be able to foot the bill for all these options when they come about.
How? If his previous inflated salary couldn't afford the tax bill how will his severely reduced one afford the options?
