Not sure criticism of failure to move the share price is fully valid, I don't really see what management could really have done other than stumble upon Olympic Dam 2.0... the market has a one track mind and people cannot comprehend the Tanzania story and the gold story in the same breath. There was almost no point in exploring between 2020-2024 as the market never reacted to any exploration news. Everyone is waiting for the dust to settle after the second dividend and then there will be a closer assessment of what the SA Project is really worth.
I guess with hindsight they probably should have spun out the gold assets 2-3 years ago and let it run free, some of the big hits they got on gold and rare earths would have got a big response if they were standing alone in a new vehicle. Let those with corporate expertise handle the Tanzania issue and let the geo's run the exploration vehicle.
Will be interesting to see where the price/market cap lands after next divvy is paid out...there will be many that rush for the exit, think there could be buying opportunities for those who rate the project.
