I don't know much about mining at all, but I've had some modest success with CZI, etc. One thing I've learnt is to follow the good management, because so many explorers are run by lifestyle managment that are good at jumping on a spruiking the latest big thing and that is all.

Another person to follow from the old CZI team is Jon Hronsky OAM (Adjunct Professor, School of Earth Sciences, UWA). Read anything he writes and listen to any interview he gives. If you want to learn a bit about porphyry ore deposits and pick up the odd stock tip by listening carefully, he is worth listening to.
