They actually did sterilisation drilling under the dump but unfortunately only for GOLD. Remember they started mining for gold in 1980's so copper was noted in drill logs but often not even assayed for.
Testing Main Zone for high-grade extensions at depth west of where Dolerite dyke cuts out is an excellent strategy.
I hope they are talking to SFR about possible JV now that mining Degrussa has ended
