This is a complex geochemical proposition. Yes, isotopic zonation of copper occurs closer to a porphyry, and isotopic chemostratigraphy can be used as a proxy to infill drilling to help with this. It's freakin expensive though. Base metal zonation also occurs, however this was detected through a shear zone, so it adds complexity through non-porphry related field stresses contributing to the zonation of metals, due to variable conditions within a shear being dominant over any fractionation of metals from porphyry driven metal deposition.
But where there's smoke there's fire, so it's a solid bite to follow.
Tepid response to the grades, but I think the resource upgrade will deliver more than the day trader attentions. This is addition to the known resource, not greenfields.
