Shop front in places like Sydney, Brisbane, Wellington etc are good things to have. The Chinese have this customs of buying gifts on holidays and bringing them home to give to relatives. That is why you see AU8 constant emphasis on "tourists" and they get tour agents to bus them in to these stores. It is a "first contact" opportunity to let them see and feel the products. They buy them and take them home and give to relatives. Then, the brand name sticks with them and they can order online via JD.com in future. That is if they like the products, of course! Relatives are good advertisers.
AU8 is doing all the right thing in term of the Chinese tourists/customers psychic and all. Only the Chinese know how to "catch" the Chinese.
Just hope this will grow big and beyond the blue sky, one day, we'll see!
