& how does building a gas fired power station that pumps out CO2 help Canada reduce CO2 emissions ? Sure it is 30% more efficient because it scavenges some waste heat BUT it still is a CO2 emitter.
Having said that, no one would be happier than me if Saddle Hills gets over the line but who are they going to find to put a long term investment into a dying industry ? If Saddle Hill falls over, at least they/we have A$10 Mil to tide them/us over to the next waste heat dream - why did they raise before FNTP SP spike ? - IMO, no matter what Ross etc. say in glossy presentations & podcasts, they are worried.
They need to be looking at building on top of an abandoned gas well, using cheap H2 produced from that and/or geothermal and/or waste heat from else were e.g. other industries e.g. cement production or the much talked about gas pipeline compressors.
These guys have to get with it or they/we are toast.
