Yeah - I should have made my comments clearer - there must be some sort of geographical and or 3D discrepancy/error either in the location of the drill hole collars or in the trajectory of the drill holes, or some sort of sampling failure and/or sample reporting/sample location discrepency to explain such weird divergent results from almost the same piece of ground.

Thats often the first two obvious things that geologists look at when reviewing old drill data with confusing or confounding results, either the location data has errors in it, or the sampling data has errors in it.

I have no evidence for it but I would suspect that maybe the RC drill holes might have lifted and swung a lot more than the diamond drill holes, but sometimes the ground can give you the opposite result with RC holes staying straight, and diamond drill holes deflecting like crazy. At least with diamond drilling you can have more confidence in the downhole survey data, but in this case they have the unfortunate situation of a high grade intercept with possibly dubious location data, unable to be replicated/confirmed by diamond drilling.
