While BHP are looking to get into the SOP game overseas, I wouldn't be surprised if they try a takeover here.

Perfect situation for them really, almost at production, it'd be revenue producing almost straight away,reasonably cheap acquisition, KLL has a huge debt, BHP can still pick them off at an explorers valuation.

They would have access to transport networks, be able to move high quantities nationally and internationally and have the funding after their WPL merger to rapidly expand production.

it also looks alot better business wise than the public perception of coal.
